Owl Night Shared Experience (Up to 12 visitors in a group booking)

OWL NIGHTS operates as a group experience of up to 12 people on Thursday and Friday nights only.

Meet our Birds of the Night, including Bush-stone Curlews, Tawny Frog Mouth, Barn Own, Boobook Owl, Masked Owl and Sooty Owl. (This species list is a guide, and at times some birds may, at the discretion of the handler, not make an appearance).

Early evening is a special time when many of our bird species are most active!

The handlers will teach our guests everything they need to know to encourage our Birds of the Night to fly to each person. This is a unique opportunity to interact with these incredible birds as they fly free and wild. OWL NIGHTS is a shared experience aimed at increasing the conservation awareness of our many threatened nocturnal bird species.

Learn about each bird's amazing nocturnal adaptations and skills, and discover the challenges and threats they face in the wild.

This experience is hosted at the Sanctuary's nature reserve, guests are encouraged to bring a picnic rug or a foldout chair. If you have head torches or lanterns, they're great to bring too, but if not the team will have spares available.

The OWL NIGHT starting time may be 5.30pm till 6.30pm (depending on the season and daylight savings time).
Our team will contact you directly if session times need adjusting. Guests should allow an hour for this experience.
